A group of three ceramic figurines comprising: a courtly lady sitting with elaborately dressed hair wearing a vibrant orange-coloured robe with long bell sleeves, holding a pet bird in the right hand, moon slipper sculpted beneath the hem of the dress; a similar figure with right hand raised palm-upwards; a servant figure wearing a brown robe with applied floral motifs, hands raised. 11.9 kg total, 41.5-45cm (16 1/4 - 17 3/4"). Ex West Country collection, Bath, Somerset, UK, 1970-2000s; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.10999-181605.
