Note: The head is accompanied by a certificate from Dr. Qing Chang, Ph.D, Professor of Arts College of Sichuan University, In his opinion it can be dated to the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577 A.D.). Also included is a report from Orenda Lab Investigation and Analysis of Artifacts and Antiquities of Santa Fe, NM.

Condition Report: Fragmentary in nature, there are several long hairline cracks across the lower portion of the face which have possibly been stabilized. Losses to the nose and ears. Otherwise in good condition.
