Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD. A glazed ceramic model altar in palanquin form, with everted flange edges to the roof and central onion-shaped knop above, hatched panels to the sides and rear, open frontal face with stepped table. 2.5 kg, 32cm (12 1/2"). Ex West Country collection, formed 1970-2000.
