East Asia, China, Ming to Qing Dynasty, ca. 14th to 19th century CE. A collection of 4 blue on white porcelain and stoneware vessels- 3 bowls and an export ware gravy or sauce boat. The blue-on-white bowls are decorated with cobalt pigments and sealed with clear glazing ? depicting pastoral landscapes with buildings, and one with floral motifs and horses. The largest bowl is stoneware and glazed in a light gray with a bare unglazed ring on the interior. Size of gravy boat: 5.25" L x 3.5" W x 4.5" H (13.3 cm x 8.9 cm x 11.4 cm)
Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010

Condition Report: Missing handle on sauce boat (pitcher), with break on body and loss to rim. Chip to rim and stable hairline fissures on the 2 midsized bowls. Stable pressure fissure on the base of the largest bowl. All have pitting and imperfections from glazing and firing.
