Chinese Painting of Bai Juyi by Shangguan Zhou
A watercolor and ink painting on paper by Shangguan Zhou (1665-1752). The painting, which has two seals, a signature, and a poem, depicts Bai Juyi and Xiao Man. It is mounted on a silk backing within a wooden frame.
Dimensions are: Painting measures 56 in. tall X 14 1/2 in. wide, 142.2 cm tall X 36.8 cm wide; Frame measures 65 in. tall X 22 in. wide, 165.1 cm tall X 55.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It has worm holes and the surface is worn with age.
