Chinese Pair Rose Medallion Porcelain Dragon Vases

A pair of Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain vases. Large glazed baluster form bodies heavily decorated in a profusion of colorful hand painted butterflies and floral forms, and with encircling panels scenes of scholars, Mandarins and courtiers, courtesans, and other elements. Surmounted with large trumpet rims decorated beneath with large applied encircling gilded dragon or salamander forms. No apparent makers mark. Accompanied with fitted open work wood bases. Vases measure approximately 13.5" x 7" x 7". Bases measure approximately 1.25" x 7.25" x 7.25".

Dimensions: 15 X 7.25 X 7.25 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear and moderate wear to bottoms. Bases have mild to moderate wear and losses. Estate fresh to the market.
