Chinese Peking Glass Snuff Bottle, 18th/19th Century
A Chinese Peking glass snuff bottle dating from the 18th or 19th century. It features a pink glass dragon chasing a flaming pearl above a wave motif on a bubbled, clear ground.
Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide, 6.4 cm X 3.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is significant chipping to the mouth as well as damage and repair to the shoulders.
Provenance: From Mrs. Collard in Northern California, who acquired this lot during the 1980s or 1990s.
