Chinese Qing carved rosewood bench, finely carved to depict plum, orchids, chrysanthemums and bamboo on back panel, double gourds on arm panels and apron. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Wei Yuan Hsueh and Emily Hsueh, Dallas, Texas. Owners of the former Oriental Art Shop in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Hsueh was a Chinese government official as Consul to Jamaica and Consul to Germany prior to beginning Oriental Art Shop. 31"H x 75"L x 23"D, Circa - 19th C.
