Chinese Red Agate Carving of 3 Goats, 18th Century
A Chinese red agate carving dating from the 18th century. The carving depicts 3 goats eating lingzhi. It is accompanied by a wooden stand.
Dimensions are: 1 3/8 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 3.5 cm tall X 5.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From Mr. Chun in Northern California. These items were from Mr. Chun's grandfather, who was the owner of Chang Mao Yang Hang bank in Shanghai during the British concession in the early 1900s.
