A Chinese Peking glass snuff bottle with red overlay dating from the 18th to 19th century. The bottle depicts a landscape with a tree in bloom, 2 deer, 2 cranes, a bat, and ruyi clouds.
Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide, 7.62 cm X 3.81 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The top of the lid has a minor crack.
Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Mullen in Upstate New York. Mr. Mullen was a world traveler and collected from different countries from the 1950s to the 1980s.
