Chinese Republic Yixing teapot, in the form of a pumpkin, with foo dog to lid. Marked, "Shi Peng". PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Wei Yuan Hsueh and Emily Hsueh, Dallas, Texas. Owners of the former Oriental Art Shop in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Hsueh was a Chinese government official as Consul to Jamaica and Consul to Germany prior to beginning Oriental Art Shop. 7.25"H x 5.75"W x 4.5" Dia., Circa - Early 20th C.
