Chinese Rice Paper Painting of Armored Warrior in Mountain Landscape, Signed

Chinese watercolor and gouache painting on rice paper depicting a standing armored warrior set within a dramatic mountain landscape. The figure is shown in colorful traditional armor with a sword at his side, framed by windswept pine trees and rocky peaks rendered in expressive ink brushwork. The composition combines military imagery with classic Chinese landscape elements, creating a striking decorative scene. Signed in calligraphy with a red seal mark, the work is executed on textured rice paper with naturally mottled coloration that enhances its antique appearance.
Measure 20"in H x 7 1/2"in W not frame

Condition: Fair vintage condition with substantial age-related wear. The rice paper exhibits extensive foxing, staining, discoloration, and scattered spotting throughout the surface. Multiple fold lines, panel creases, and areas of waviness are visible across the composition. There is surface wear, minor abrasions, pigment loss, and handling-related imperfections consistent with age and storage. The signature and seal remain visible, and the artwork retains strong visual appeal as a decorative piece despite condition issues. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
