Chinese Rice Paper Painting of Mounted Warrior with Sword, Signed

Chinese watercolor and gouache painting on rice paper depicting a mounted warrior brandishing a sword while riding through a rugged landscape beneath a pine tree. Rendered in earthy tones with blue, green, and red accents, the composition showcases traditional brushwork and features a calligraphic signature with a red artists seal. The textured rice paper ground contributes to the atmospheric appearance and reflects the aesthetic of traditional Chinese historical and military-themed artwork. Unframed and suitable for display or collection.
Measure 20"in H x 7 1/2"in W not frame

Condition: Good vintage condition with noticeable age-related wear. The rice paper shows foxing, staining, discoloration, creases, and handling wear throughout. Areas of paint loss, surface abrasions, and scattered flaking are visible across the composition, particularly within the background and along fold lines. Minor waviness and age toning are present. Despite these condition issues, the painting remains intact and displays attractively. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description.
