Chinese Silver Table Set 19th - 20th Century

A figural table set dating from the 19th to the 20th century. This silver set is shaped with two men on wheeled planks carrying a cart with a chest, buckets and urn. The urn has a pierced removable top and is used as a pepper shaker, the chest holds toothpicks and has a lid that opens and the lidded bucket is hinged with a small glass piece inside. The bucket can be used for salt. The other bucket also has a glass piece inside. The wheels are functioning and the heads of the men are also removable and not silver. There are two small spoons that come with the set, which can be stored in a wooden box with slide out lid.

Dimensions: 9 1/4 inches long X 2 1/2 inches wide X 4 7/8 inches high; 23.5 cm long X 6.4 cm wide X 12.4 cm high. Box- 10 1/4 inches long X 5 3/4 inches wide X 3 7/8 inches high; 26 cm long X 14.6 cm wide X 9.8 cm high. Total weight including box is 868 grams. The Silver set is 248.6 grams. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The silver is tarnished but otherwise the set is in good condition.
