Chinese Silver and Jade Mirror and Toggles

Chinese export silver hand mirror, the back with high relief flower and dragonfly decoration on a hammered finish, bud form and braided borders, embellished with inset semiprecious gems and a central carved apple jade medallion featuring mirrors and ribbons in low relief, the foliate brightcut engraved handle with wing form supports holding a jade dragon form ruyi scepter, marked silver, 20th C. Also including carved jade toggles (2), in the form of a carp and a ruyi with engraved frog and pomegranate decoration on one side and Chinese calligraphy on the other side.
