A silvered mirror with lobed circumference, pierced dome at centre, dragon in high-relief set off-centre, gaping jaws with a long, slender tongue protruding, detailing to scaly body and bestial claws; remains of silvering to reverse. 1.7 kg, 24.5cm (9 3/4"). Property of a London doctor; previously in the collection of her husband by inheritance; formerly acquired during travels in the Far East during the 1920s.
