Chinese Tang Dynasty Bronze Mirror

Chinese Tang dynasty bronze mirror, possibly ca. 618 to 907 CE or later, eight lobed floriform, with cast scrolling foliate decoration and handle mount to one side, the other side with oxidized patina. 5.25" diameter. Provenance: Property from the Manhattan estate of Indrani Yogasundram, who lived in many different countries with her husband Yogaraj during his decades-long career as a Sri Lankan diplomat. In addition to the heirloom jewelry she possessed, Indrani acquired jewelry, art, and ornaments while stationed in China (1960-63), Sri Lanka (1963-65), and Iraq (1965-1967).
