Chinese Turquoise-Glazed Guanyin, 17th Century
A Chinese turquoise-glazed porcelain statue of Guanyin dating from the 17th century. Guanyin sits on a rock holding prayer beads in her right hand and a scroll in her left hand. She wears a hooded robe and a necklace.
Dimensions are: 13 3/4 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 34.9 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There are numerous areas of significant firing cracks.
Provenance: From Mrs. Pheasant in Central Florida. A family heirloom.
