Chinese White Jade Carved Lock, 19th Century
A Chinese white jade carved lock plaque dating from the 19th century. The plaque shows four characters on one side and a deer beneath a pine tree on the other. Two dragons form the frame.
Dimensions are: 2 5/8 inches tall X 3 3/4 inches wide, 6.7 cm tall X 9.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good condition.
Provenance: From a Dr. Wang in Northern California. Dr. Wang is a retired professor from the School of Business at California State University.
