Chinese White Jade Carved Pick, Ming

A Chinese white jade pick dating from the Ming dynasty. The carved jade has a brown skin and a guardian lion sits on top of the pick.

Dimensions are: 2 1/2 in. tall X 7/8 in. wide; 6.4 cm tall X 2.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Age-appropriate wear.

Provenance: From a Dr. Wang in Northern California. Dr. Wang is a retired professor from the school of business at California State University.
