Chinese White Jade Carved Plaque, Ming Dynasty

A Chinese white jade plaque carved with a mythical beast dating from the Ming dynasty.

Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Levin. Mr. Levin was the US Consul General to Hong Kong in the 1980s, and later served as the US Ambassador to Burma from 1987 to 1990.
