Chinese White Jade Dragon Censer Incense Burner

A Chinese jade incense censer. A rectangular carved white jade body with relief designs to side panels depicting archaic dragons, clouds, fire pearls, and other auspicious symbols. Surmounted by a removable architectural form lid with carved dragon finial handle, flanked by dual scrolling handles, and supported on a quartet of carved cylindrical legs with scrolling and other designs. No apparent maker marks. Presented with a fitted custom carved and lacquered footed open work wood base. Vessel with lid measures approximately 6.5" x 4" x 2". Base measures approximately 1.25" x 4.25"x 2.25". Provenance; a private collection.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal to mild age related surface wear and small loss to finial. Estate fresh to the market.
