Chinese White Jade Fish, 18th Century or Earlier

A Chinese white jade carving of a fish dating from the 18th century or earlier.

Dimensions are: 3/4 inches tall X 3 inches wide, 1.9 cm X 7.6 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition with natural variations to the stone.

Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago, Illinois. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970. This lot is part of Mrs. Hillebrand's sixth consignment with Oakridge Auction Gallery.
