Chinese White Jade Fruit Carving, 17-18th Century
A Chinese white jade carving dating to either the 17th or 18th century. The carving depicts a peach, pomegranate and Buddha's hand. It further depicts bats, flowers, and leaves. It is accompanied by a wooden stand.
Dimensions are: 3 in. tall X 3 1/4 in. wide; 7.6 cm tall X 9.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Age-appropriate wear.
Provenance: From Mr. Oberset in Seattle, Washington. Acquired in Hong Kong prior to the 1980s.
