Chinese White Jade Pendant, 18th Century

A Chinese white jade bi pendant dating from the 18th century. The pendant features a squirrel and a chilong.

Dimensions: 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide; 5.7 cm tall X 3.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition with natural seams and inclusions.

Provenance: From Mr. Zaun’s collection in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Zaun lived in Taiwan with his wife in 1967-68 and began his interest in Chinese history and artifacts there. This item was purchased from the Golden Dragon Oriental Shop in Glenview, Illinois.
