Chinese White Jade Pierced Plaque, 19th Century

A Chinese white jade pierced plaque dating from the 19th century. The plaque features 2 characters, ruyi wands, and a q'in stone mirror.

Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 2 inches wide; 5.7 cm tall X 5.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From Mrs. Fullerton in New Jersey. Her father, Maurice Etangs, was chief of police in Tianjin, China and lived there from 1935 to 1945. These items were collected during that time.
