A Chinese white jade snuff bottle dating from the 18th to the 19th century with a glass stopper and a spoon. The snuff bottle is carved in the form of a pomegranate and features leaves, branches, and a toad.
Dimensions are: 1 7/8 inches tall X 1 7/8 inches wide; 4.8 cm X 4.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
