Chinese White Jade Ruyi, Early 19th Century
A Chinese white jade ruyi from the early 19th century. Carved jade ruyi in a naturalistic form. The ruyi is carved on the staff handle with clouds and bats. The bottom of the staff is carved with a lingzhi. It is pierced and a red cord is strung through it with an endless knot.
Dimensions are: 11 3/4 inches long X 2 5/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in overall good condition.
Provenance: From a Minnesota estate.
