Chinese White Jade Snuff Bottle, 18-19th Century
A Chinese white jade snuff bottle dating from the 18th to the 19th centuries. The snuff bottle is incised on 1 side with 2 flowers and on the other with a poem inscription. The snuff bottle has a jade stopper with a cork and spoon.
Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 5/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition, though the stopper has become disattached from the cork and spoon.
Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, by descent from his father, who acquired it in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before 1970.
