Chinese White Jade Snuff Bottle, 18th Century
A Chinese white jade snuff bottle dating from the 18th century. The smoothly polished snuff bottle features 2 guardian lion heads holding engaged rings at the shoulders. It has a coral stopper and one spoon.
Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide, 7 cm tall X 3.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s. Lots 194-198 from our auction on Sept 6th, 2019 were from the same estate.
