Chinese Wucai Seal Box, 17-18th Century
A Chinese wucai porcelain seal box dating from the 17th to the 18th century. The top and bottom of the box feature a framed scene with a man under a tree; the edges feature flowers. The interior of each features a flowering tree.
Dimensions: 1/4 inch tall X 3 inches wide; 0.6 cm tall X 7.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Chips to the rim and a firing crack in the rim of one.
Provenance: From Mr. Lebeouf in Southern California; the piece is a family heirloom.
