Chinese Wucai Vase with 8 Daoist Immortals,19th Century
A Chinese phoenix tail wucai vase dating from the 19th century. There is a 6-character Kangxi mark on the bottom, and the neck features 4 auspicious symbols above 4 dragons chasing flaming pearls with a Greek key border and ruyi band. The body depicts the 8 Daoist Immortals above a wave motif.
Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in overall good condition with a few iron pits.
Provenance: From Mr. Mah in New Jersey, whose father acquired the collection in China prior to 1949.拍品來自新澤西Mah先生, 這些藏品為其父親在1949年前在上海購藏,此後在家中傳承。
