Chinese Zisha Snuff Bottle, 19th Century
A Chinese Zisha ceramic snuff bottle dating from the 19th century. The snuff bottle features a scene of a dragon appearing to a man on 1 side and a man riding a tiger on the other. The snuff bottle has a green stone stopper and a spoon.
Dimensions: 2 3/4 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 7 cm X 5.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Chipping to the mouth, wear to the glaze on the bottom, the man witnessing the dragon's hand has broken off, and a few minor glaze pops.
Provenance: From a Connecticut gentleman's private collection; assembled over the past 25 years.
