Chinese carved jade Diamond Throne Temple, 99"h

Monumental Chinese carved jade Diamond Throne Temple, having five pagoda towers carved in the manner of the Porcelain Tower of Nanjing, each of octagonal form with multiple peaked roofs each suspending bells, centering the largest pagoda, 69"h x 16"w having (8) peaked roofs surmounted by a spire, surrounded by four smaller pagodas each with a spire and (7) peaked roofs, 41"h x 10"w; and four single level temples, the pagodas connected by carved jade link chains, the whole resting on a custom wooden base, having four balustered tiers with a staircase in the center of each side, each staircase having a carved jade Fu lion ding censor at the top, 6.25"h x 6"w; flanked by a pair of Fu lions, 6.25"h x 3"w x 3.25"d; and inlaid with a pair of relief carved writhing dragon plaques, 12.75"h x 4"w; base 30.5"h x 72"sq; overall 99.5"h x 72" square.
There are several Diamond Throne temples in China. They are modeled after the Mahabodhi Temple in India which has five towers and is built over the the birthplace of Buddhism.
