Chinese celadon jade carving of auspicious flowers, the rectangular spinach jade planter containing an asymmetrical arrangement of chrysanthemums, peony, binweed, and calla lilies, the front of the planter having an inscription which translates as 'The flowers vie with each other for beauty,' the carving weighing 52.25 lbs or 23.7 kilos, the planter weighing 58.3 lbs or 26.44 kilos, sculpture 15"h x 31"w x 17"d; planter 6"h x 18.5"w x 11.5"d; together 21"h and weighing 110.55 lbs or 50.14 kilos.
