The horse was bought in Belgium in early 70s.
Prancing horses are , probably, the most impressive of the Tang dyn. popular glazed and unglazed horses. This, specific horse is beautifully modeled with fine proportion. Hhs posture, vigorous and dynamic. Traces of red, white and black color.
The horses' legs are repaired (old repair), so is the upper part of his mane. The lower part of the left saddle blanket is repaired.
A fine old wooden base is attached.
