Chinese porcelain tibor, blue and white, Qing Dynasty
A tibor-type porcelain vase with a wide-flanged domed lid on a stout-shouldered body with a short circular neck. The exterior decoration is in underglaze cobalt-blue with a white ground in the Kangxi style. The body and lid are decorated with convoluted lotus scrolls with leaves between them. The neck has bunches of leaves between a double ring, as on the lid and near the base. In the centre of the base there is a double-circle mark. With restoration in the mouth.
