She seems to have leaped forward and landed on tiptoes, one arm up the other down, her long dress fanning out in front of her with the beads of her costume jingling to the music. The handmade bronze sculpture was capture using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. She is mounted upon a black marble base with the artist D.H. Chiparus's signature.
