Christ (1) - Ivory - Late 18th century

Ivory sculpture representing the body of the dying Christ, from Dieppe (France) . Preservation: the Christ is in excellent conservation, the ivory has a beautiful patina given by age. It dates back to the 18th century, but could also be antecedent. Size of the Christ from head to toe: approx. 12. 5 cm. The arm opening measures 11 cm approx.
