Christ (1) - Ivory - Second half 19th century

Ivory sculpture representing the body of the dying Christ, from Dieppe (France) . Preservation: Christ is fixed on a wooden panel and it is intact, with its original patina. Please note that one finger from right hand and left foor are missing, as shown in pictures. Size of the Christ from head to toe: approx. 18 cm. The arm opening measures 14 cm approx. The picture has an overall size of 45 x 34. Bidders should be aware of the restrictions in some countries for items made of materials that cannot be imported. Shipping in a protected crate.
