Corpus Christi in cast and chiseled silver, 18th century Italian goldsmith the figure of Christ made with lost-wax casting and expertly chiseled-finished belongs to that late Mannerist and Proto-Baroque iconographic production that was typical of sculptors such as Giacomo della Porta (1532-1602) , Gian Bologna (1529-1608) and later , throughout the seventeenth and first part of the eighteenth century, continued by artists such as Pietro Tacca (1577-1640) , Antonio Susini (1585-1624) and many other Roman and Tuscan artists.
