Wrought and cast silver Corpus Christi by an Italian silversmith of the 18th century. The figure of Christ, made using the lost wax casting technique and skilfully chiselled, belongs to the late mannerist and early Baroque iconographic production of sculptors such as Giacomo della Porta (1532-1602) , Gian Bologna (1529-1608) and then, throughout the 17th and the early 18th centuries, by the likes of Pietro Tacca (1577-1640) , Antonio Susini (1585-1624) and many other Roman and Tuscan artists. Overall height from the arm: 35 cm Opening width: 28. 5 cm Proper protective packaging and tracked shipping via a partner courier.
