An Austrian artist of the 20th century, born in 1933, she was a self-taught artist with a medical background, primarily working in watercolor, drawing, printmaking, and photography. Accepted into the Vienna Association of Visual Artists in 1990, she participated in the Symposium of European Sculptors in St. Margarethen in 1981 with Karl Prantl and was represented in exhibitions at the Künstlerhaus Wien and the Association of Austrian Women Artists (VBKÖ) – key forums for Viennese women artists. The 1990 catalogue “Komplexe Freiheit” (Complex Freedom) is dedicated to her work with abstract and expressive elements (abstraction, expressionism), including group exhibitions such as “IntAkt” in 1986 with “Fria Elfen. Hommage à Popowa” – a homage to Lyubov Popova – as well as mentions in the Künstlerhaus annual reports of 2013. Her diverse oeuvre, represented at auctions with works such as “Untitled”, spans postwar and contemporary art in the Viennese context and connects to Maria Biljan-Bilger, the VBKÖ tradition and Prantl’s abstract sculpture, while operating as an experimental position between printmaking and performative sculpture.

The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights and platform fee.
