Condition Report:
The sculpture is in two parts.
Black can : the surface is dusty and there are scattered scratches in the surface. The surface is irregular. Upon close inspection, there are tiny accretions in places. On the rim of the can, there is a tiny loss of black pigment.
White can: Upon close inspection, tiny brown media accretions are visible. The surface is dusty. There are tiny losses of media on the protruding elements. On the outer lower edge, there are tiny cracks with associated a loss of media on the protruding elements. Upon extremely close inspection, there is a rub mark with associated tiny loss of media.
All other irregularities are inherent to the artist’s choice of media and technique.
This work is in overall good condition.
