Ostrowski spent two weeks in Berlin's Republic Square, in front of the "wrapped Reichstag" building, with a poster with the inscription "This is not a work of art. " For Martin von Ostrowski, the work of Christo and Jeanne Claude is a despicable “kitschification” of the most important building in Berlin. Ostrowski expressed his opinion that the mass movement of people around the Reichstag was more an event similar to an ecclesiastical convention or a popular festival than an artistic manifestation of interest. . .
