Christofle - Dinner set (6) - Talisman - Silver-plated

Six CHRISTOFLE cutlery model TALISMAN in silver metal and green Chinese lacquer.
All of the cutlery is in very good condition and unused.

In 1986, Bernard Yot and Studio Christofle designed Talisman, a precious collection, inspired by the Art Deco style.
Christofle begins the process by stamping the coating into the chosen metal. After this step, it is sanded. This sanding allows the lacquer to cling to the metal.
Then, 2 coats of lacquer are applied to give the color then 16 coats of varnish. This step is repeated many times and applied by hand.
This allows Talisman to be strong and durable.
The last step is to apply a coat of finishing varnish to bring out the silver patterns.
Then, each piece is hand polished to reveal a perfect shine.
