Magnificent silver-plated Christofle spice jar of Napoleon III from France around 1880. Round, rising base standing on three decorative feet; central shaft with holder, attached to it a rotating holder with open gallery and pearl rim, in which various containers have been hung. They consist of 5 crystal bottles and inserts - one is missing - can be replaced. , A mustard jar with corresponding silver lid. The containers are a bottle for vinegar or oil, a salt shaker, a pepper shaker and a mustard pot, as well as another with a lid. A few minimal chips on the edge - difficult to photograph. Probably some Baccarat glass pieces as in the original. Good original condition with age-appropriate patina, small chips. Collector's item!
