Fragment of an adhesive label with an illegible inscription on the gentlemans portrait verso. Brass labels from the 20th century on the frame verso. Inscribed "Selbstbildnis" and "Bildnis seiner Frau".
Literature: Diefenthaler, Sandra-Kristin, Christoph Schwarz. Hofkünstler der Wittelsbacher im Konfessionellen Zeitalter. Berlin-Munich 2020 (also dissertation phil.
