Chrysler - New Yorker Town & Country 2 Dr Hardtop - 1950

[ translate ]

With a production of only 689 (!) cars, this 1950 Chrysler Town & Country is an extremely rare car and a great addition to any car collection. 1950 was the last year Chrysler produced the Town & Country coupé. At the time, it was the most expensive American coupé one could buy. It is said that the Chrysler Imperial was never able to match the class and status of the Town & Country. This Town & Country is finished with many wood and chrome accents which are in good condition. Generally in good condition, there’s a lot of history available. The paint still looks neat for its age and the chrome has a nice shine. The Lockheed-designed disc brakes were very far ahead of their time and cost and additional $400 for the then already very expensive coupé. The Chrysler engine is a 5. 3L line 8 engine and runs great, very quiet and it has 135 hp. The manual gearbox is very easy to operate. The interior of the Chrysler is also in very good condition, the carpet, the seats and the door cards are all in good condition. The car can be viewed and picked up in Emmerich am Rhein, Germany. It is recommended to view the car prior to placing a bid. The vehicle must be picked up within 4 weeks after the closing date of the auction, storage costs will be charged thereafter. We can arrange transport for you. Please ask about the possibilities.
