This Chrysler was imported in 2016 and registered in March 2017 in England, after spending a long time in a covered judicial depository in the USA: the previous owner hadn’t paid some debts. The history and documents about it are supplied with the car. It’s an original “Club Coupé” model, which differs in the central pillar. The data plate confirms that it left the factory in the rare Arctic blue colour (Number 5) . In addition, the original “Spitfire” 264. 5 cu (4,334 cc) engine has the C53 code, which means Chrysler (C) year 1953 (53) . This car is a rare matching number with original colour! It has never been modified and it’s not a custom hot rod, it has all original parts. It has the rare option of the power steering, it works well and allows an agile and relaxed driving. Since its arrival in Europe, many works have been carried out: a completely new interior (front and rear seats, door panels and interior) , a new engine electrical system and new brake pipes. A new Optima battery has just been installed. Approved for 6 people (driver + 5 passengers) . It’s very solid (see photos on the car lift) , the sheet metal is original, the paint is still in good condition but there are some signs of aging, also on the dashboard. A thickness gauge test was performed and no signs of accidents, old repairs or excessive filler were found (see photos of the tests) . A compression test was carried out on the engine and gave good results, all in order. A video of the running engine and of the complete car is available. The documents are European, this allows you to register the car more easily, there are no import taxes to pay (see photos) . The car will be sanitised before the delivery.
